At 0:00 on May 20, Lay Zhang’s fourth solo album prelude 《玉》(Jade) was launched worldwide, with traditional Chinese culture as its background and creative adaptation of popular music. "Jade" tells an ancient story based on story Farewell My Concubine.
"Jade" was jointly made by Lay Zhang and international producer Murda Beatz. The song starts with classic Peking Opera intro, and then Murata's unique drumming, the sound of traditional Chinese musical instruments, was added to the sampling of Lay Zhang's antique music. Zhang Yixing's fourth album is also about to be released.
